The 6000 and 6100 McPherson Block Unit had their second annual Christmas Party at Gee and Cal Stuart’s the Sunday before Christmas.
The Thursday before Christmas some members of the McPherson Block Unit met at their barricade to trim the tree with homemade ornaments, then treated other members to some Christmas music as they caroled in the 6000 and 6100 blocks of McPherson. After caroling, refreshments for the children were served at Joe and Mary Boyts. Refreshments for adults were served at the home of Dr. and Mrs. E. G. Weltin.
