West End Publishing Mission Statement

This Corporation is organized exclusively for the charitable and educational purpose (within the meaning of Section 501(c) (3) of the United States Internal Revenue Code of 1954 or the corresponding provisions of any future United States Internal revenue Law) of providing information and assistance to improve neighborhood conditions and to foster the education, culture, society, security and comfort of neighborhood residents.

The Corporation is organized to serve a public purpose to inform neighborhood residents through publication of a newspaper and to engage in promotional activities, through whatever appropriate means, including publication and events of any type and assistance to other person or organizations, provided that all such activities must conform to the exclusively charitable and educational purposes of the Corporation.

The Corporation is organized to raise the educational, cultural, social, security and comfort levels of the residents of the neighborhood community in the Skinker DeBaliviere geographic area, to foster and promote community-wide information, interest and concern for the problems and opportunities of such community to the end that (1) sickness, poverty and crime may be lessened, (2) housing and other neighborhood conditions may be improved, and (3) educational, cultural, social, security and comfort opportunities may be expanded among the residents of such community.
