You can join the “Home Plate” program and host dinner for Wash U Students Away From Home, starting this Fall. Washington University is looking for warmhearted families to host 2-3 students for casual dinner and conversation. Help them feel at home in St. Louis and your family can enjoy the company of Wash U’s incredibly smart and talented kids.

We only require that you have 2-3 get-togethers over the course of the academic year.

We also try to match students to family interests. Many students stay with their families throughout their Wash U years!

We will ask you to host your first dinner in late September or early October.

There will be a reception at the Chancellor’s residence for all program participants in the Spring. E-mail Risa Zwerling at zwerling@wustl.edu to sign up!
