Dear Friends of St. Roch: Thank you all for your patience as we work to solidify St. Roch’s future.
After our appeals regarding All Things New expired, Monsignor Turek consulted with Archbishop Rozanski about finding a way to allow St. Roch to retain its identity as a Church and community within Christ the King Parish.
We are pleased to announce that St. Roch will retain its identity as St. Roch Church in Christ the King Parish.
This designation is acceptable to the Archdiocese.
While we remain part of Christ the King Parish, our Church campus and community will remain intact, open and continuing with masses at 9 am Sundays, on Holy Days, and other events. Our funds and accounting will remain on the books of CTK Parish but designated for our use.
We will roll out more details on governance, fundraising, and other parish issues later, but we wanted to share this exciting news as soon as possible.
It is important to continue supporting St. Roch Church and Christ the King Parish.
We are all in this together. Mike Stephens joined Christ the King’s Parish Council, so we will have continued representation going forward.
We are also bringing back Monsignor Polizzi’s traditional open house, scheduled on December 13, 2024.
We will send out more details on that event in the next few days. Thank you, St. Roch Leadership Team.
