Searchable issues of The Paper/The Times of Skinker DeBaliviere have been available for some time (at http://sdtimes.citywestend. org/index.html), but the quality of the searchable text was poor.
A major revision of these files is underway to address this weakness. So far all the issues from the first one in April, 1970, through May, 1977, have been rebuilt and placed online.
The rest of the 70’s should be completed by mid-September.
Each decade takes time, so the 80’s should be finished by the end of October.
A status report will be included on the website.
These files will be readable through Adobe Reader 9 or later.
This is free software through Adobe, so users should be prepared to upgrade if they are using something lower than version 9.
