September 2001

Historical Fall 2001 article. Dates, prices, services and contacts describe the source period; current availability has not been established.

It’s not too late to support the 2001 Friends of Skinker DeBaliviere annual fund-raising campaign. Chairman Linda Cross notes that strong support from the neighborhood pushed the campaign over its official goal by May of this year – – – but as the season winds down, you may wish to get that extra tax deduction for 2001. Remember that your contributions to the not-for-profit Council are tax-exempt. Those contributing at the $100+ level receive a free Skinker DeBaliviere Tshirt, designed by neighborhood artist Andy Cross and celebrating some of the unique qualities of our neighborhood under the banners of “Preservation; Progress: and Diversity.” This original black and white line art includes some architectural details typical to our community and printed on the back of the Tshirt, a nice twist and a good way to completely showcase the neighborhood’s proud message. Those wanting to simply acquire a T-shirt may do so by contacting the SDCC office at 862-5122.

All sizes are still in stock. and sell for $12 with the exception of XXXL, which is priced at $15.
