Historical May 1994 article. Dates, prices, services and contacts describe the source period; current availability has not been established.

Although five alarms brought a regiment of firefighters and their arsenal of equipment, nothing could be done to save the Wabash Triangle Cafe in the 6100 block of Delmar from the flames which broke out early one morning in late March.

The smoke was so dense that firefighters at the tops of the ladders sometimes totally disappeared from view.

The intense fire at the Wabash Triangle Cafe is shown being brought under control.

The building was subsequently razed.
