Attention all you neighborhood hoofers!
On Friday evening, June 1, the West End Arts Council will sponsor “Summer Fun:’ a dance fundraiser featuring live rock and roll music by Jules Blattner and the Teen Tone Revival.
The event will be held at the Center of Contemporary Arts (COCA), 524 Trinity, from 7:30-midnight. United States Open Swing Champions Sherry Lawson and Dale Roughlly will perform as well as other regional champions, and a beginners imperial swing lesson will be given to the adventurous from 7:45-8:15. Chances at priceless prizes will also be sold at a mere $2.00 each.
One lucky family will win a season of summer fun at the Skinker-DeBalivere swimming pools.
Another couple will win a romantic evening on the town. Tickets to this fabulous fundraiser are $15.00 apiece and include complimentary beer, sangria and snacks.
