Animal Rights Team Asks For Supplies

Historical May 1989 report or notice. Original dates, prices and contacts describe the source period; current availability has not been established.

The St. Louis Animal Rights Team is helping to collect items for several animal sanctuaries in the area.

They would be grateful for household discards such as: old blankets; sheets; towels; wash cloths; washable throw rugs; dog and cat dishes; plastic buckets (feed & water); toys; collars; pet carriers; dog houses; coupons for dog & cat food; aluminum pie pans; scrap paper for notes; used electric can openers.

Dr. Steve Brammeier has generously offered to let the Animal Rights Team put a large brown trash can on his premises at 420 Skinker, on Saturday May 13, until 5 p.m., to collect any items neighbors would like to donate.

For further information on donations, please call Sylvia Stahl at 862-2197 or Hilda Olsen at 391-1338.
